January 22, 2025: PECO RFP – REMINDER: February 5 Webcast for March 2025 Solicitation under PECO’s DSP VI – RSVP NOW!
The Independent Evaluator will hold a webcast on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM (EPT) that will provide information regarding the upcoming March 2025 Solicitation. This solicitation will seek to procure full requirements service for the Residential and Small Commercial Classes for 12-month and 24-month supply periods, and for the Consolidated Commercial and Industrial Class for a 12-month supply period. All supply periods begin on June 1, 2025.
The March 2025 Solicitation is the first solicitation under PECO’s Default Service Program VI, approved by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission on November 7, 2024 in Docket No. P-2024-3046008. The webcast will cover changes for DSP VI including:
- the addition of a capacity proxy price and true-up mechanism to the Uniform SMA due to the delays in PJM’s Reliability Pricing Model; and
- the increase in the load cap for the Consolidated Large Commercial and Industrial class from 50% to 75%.
The webcast will also cover topics including the products available, the terms of the Uniform SMA, and the qualification process.
